In MONUMENT 0.4:Lores & Praxes (rituals of transformations) Boglárka Börcsök works as an artistic collaborator and performer with Eszter Salamon to create an exhibition work which lasts for six hours with ten performers.

“Ten performers from four continents, engage in a performative transformation of war dances and dances of resistance. All these expressions are also originating from four continents and are not destined to be learnt, as they fall out of contemporary dances education and the market's economic radar.

During the six-hour exhibition situations shift and - like knots - are tied together to create an in-between-world where fiction and physical presence are entangled. All these threads do not bring us back to the supposed origins - fantasies of a moment frozen in the past and fixed forever-, but mingle with historical, personal and fictitious links, creating a collective fabric of sensitive and reflexive empathy.”
